The Best Gift Idea for Parents from Students (Seriously, the best!)

My all time favorite gift for students to give to their parents is a personalized photo and letter. Here’s why…

#1 It’s personalized which is always a bonus.

#2 It involves writing so you can tie it into the curriculum.

#3 It only costs $1 per student!

Start out by having parents email you a family photo (but don’t let them know what it is for!) Then, have each student write a short poem or letter to their parents about why they love them. Then simply overlay the text on the photo, I recommend using Canva.com. Finally, print and insert in a Dollar Store picture frame. $1 per gift, score!

I like to buy wrapping paper at the dollar store as well and have each students wrap the present themselves. It’s a great life skill to learn. Be prepared to have lots of extra tape on hand, haha.

Looking for present ideas for STudent or Fellow Teachers?

Students LOVE these personalized pencils currently only $1 for a 3 pack! Bonus: these pencils almost never get lost or misplaced, and if they do it’s easy to find the owner!

The best gift for fellow teachers? In my opinion it is definitely a TeachersPayTeachers gift card. We all have plenty of coffee mugs and Starbucks cards, am I right? I love to gift a TPT gift card at the beginning of the year too! Pair it with a handwritten note and maybe some cute office supplies. Flair pens and cute binder clips are always a favorite.
