Students love creating and writing about their pet rocks while imagining great adventures with their new pet. This Pet Rock activity works perfectly as a Rocks and Minerals activity. Pet rocks were fun in the 70’s and are just as fun today! I have used this activity as a culminating Rock & Minerals project and as a Camping in the Classroom activity.
